Mt Rouse is receiving a new look with work beginning on a mural.  The barbecue shelter at the summit carpark is the site for a new work by noted mural artist "Big Ted" Horton.  Commissioned by the Volcanoes Discovery Centre committee, the work in three panels will draw visitors into the artistic aspects of the history of Penshurst.

Although the finished mural is yet to be unveiled, this photo captures the work being done by "Big Ted" while he is based at his camp near the summit.
